Kaseran Pillay is a multi-talented individual who is a stage and television actor, stand-up comedian, voice artist, writer, and director who has a keen interest in golf and Brazilian Martial Arts.

He makes his feature film debut in Leon Schuster’s Mr Bones 2.  He has been involved in a number of television shows, among which are Showbiz Report as a field presenter, The History of Bunny Chow, Bay Of Plenty, Going Nowhere Slowly and Innocent Times.

He is a popular stand-up comedian, having been featured in a vast array of comedy shows including Amahlayo Etheku, Kaseran’s Komedy Klub (Welcome to the KKK), Durban Port Carnival, Smirnoff International Comedy Festival, Comedy Shop, The Koelie Met/With Klass, The Jungle Sluts, It’s a Funny Country and A Comedy Festival Called Fred.

Kaseran’s stage performances include Abbamaniacs, Amagamamathathu, Jacky Hangmen Three, My Cousin Brother, Chilli Balls and Rock & Roll, The Coolie Odyssey, Hamlet, Snow White and Several Dwarfs, There’s Something About Doctor, Maree, Hans Christian Anderssen Stories, Catch Khalulu, Dilly Bags and friends, The Great 31 Million Rand Robbery, The Bends, Rights and Wrongs, Atom Bombs and Daisies.

Kaseran received the 2001 FNB Vita Award for Best Performance by a New Actor for his role in Hamlet.
